Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen gave their analysis and picks for Saturday's top-three UFC 188 fights on the latest episode of The Fighter and The Kid podcast, in between interruptions from Hulk Hogan (we won't spoil it -- listen, find out, and enjoy). In the night's featured middleweight bout, longtime training partner and friend of Brendan's, Nate Marquardt takes on TUF winner Kelvin Gastelum.
"I'd never pick against Nate," Brendan said.
"Nate is one of my closest training partners of all time. He's like a brother to me. I haven't talked to him in awhile but it would be great to see Nate get a win. People have to remember that this is Nate's first time back with Trevor Whitman...and he also spent most of his time at AKA, which isn't too shabby, either...I like Nate, I don't know Kelvin, so I pick Nate."
