With a broken nose postponing Neil Wain’s UFC debut, rising heavyweight star Eddie Sanchez has stepped up to the plate to face hard-hitting Antoni Hardonk on the UFC 85 card at the O2 Arena in London, England, on June 7th.

“I think he’s a great kickboxer,” said Sanchez of Hardonk. “But it’s not a kickboxing match – it’s an MMA fight.”

It is a fight that Hardonk (6-4) believes will be a barnburner though.

“I think he is a tough fighter with good stand up skills, so with my background we can put on a good fight for the fans,” said the Holland native, who is fresh from a 17 second knockout of Colin Robinson in January. Sanchez (10-1) returns to the Octagon with a two fight winning streak in hand, having stopped Robinson and Soa Palelei in successive bouts.
